About Us: Black Shamrock is a leading game development studio that thrives on creating captivating worlds and immersive gameplay. Our aim is to achieve stunning realism while pushing the boundaries of creativity and technology. 

About the Position: As an Animator, you will be a key contributor to the animation pipeline of this groundbreaking project. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about the potential of AI tools in animation and excited about learning and experimenting with new systems. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create seamless, lifelike animations while embracing AI as a tool for exploration and efficiency.

• Design and develop high-quality, realistic animations for characters, creatures, and gameplay.
• Utilize animation blends to ensure fluid transitions and responsive movement.
• Collaborate with the team to experiment with AI systems and tools, integrating them into the animation process.
• Work with motion capture data to create and refine animations.
• Ensure animations are optimized for performance within Unreal Engine 5 while maintaining visual fidelity.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall look and feel of the game.
   

Need to Have:

• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Maya for animation workflows.
• Solid understanding of unreal animation workflow including blending for realism
• Strong knowledge of animation principles and techniques
• Experience with motion capture pipelines and data refinement.
• A passion for experimentation and curiosity about integrating AI tools into animation processes.
• Ability to adapt and learn new tools and techniques as the project evolves.
• A portfolio showcasing your experience and interest in AI-driven animation workflows. Highlight any relevant projects or experiments involving AI systems, or share your enthusiasm for learning and working with these tools.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 animation systems and optimization.
• Prior experience or experimentation with AI-driven animation tools is a strong plus.
• Technical knowledge of procedural animation and its applications.
• Strong creative and problem-solving skills to tackle unique challenges in an experimental R&D setting.
