

Airspace Integration Manager
Job Description
Your mission is to work with a range of policy and regulatory partners. You will also assist in the Wisk regulatory engagement framework to oversee the future airspace integration strategy under development by Air Services. Your work will be essential to support the future safe integration of our aircraft and ground systems in the future.
You will also work with other product teams, both in the US and across APAC to develop and refine various concepts of operations, and will engage with other regulators. You will combine your understanding of the aviation system, with keen insights on how to safely integrate new autonomous technologies for passenger airline operations and integrate that with the emerging airspace requirements to support autonomous aircraft.
You will be part of the Air Carrier Team, laying the foundation for further expansion over the coming years.
The successful candidate has a strong technical aerospace background, and has combined this with project management skills, strong stakeholder engagement, and ability to work well with a diverse team. They will connect with others easily on the hanger floor and across the globe. They will embrace challenges and lift up those around them to achieve more together.
Responsibilities
- Engage with regulatory authorities to develop airspace integrations roadmap, procedures and the development of tailored flight operations to support autonomous aircraft operations. Support teams in the development, definition and implementation of airspace integration technical standards. Support our strategic partnerships and go to market teams in establishing and maintaining relationships with local/state and federal government authorities in relation to Vertiport projects. Connect with Wisk NZ AITP program to enhance airspace integration plans. Assist in the development of Wisk APAC CONOPS development. Work with Air Services and CASA in the development of sandbox opportunities for future airspace awareness programs. Support the development of operational procedures and manuals to enable Part 135/133 Air Carrier operations.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in a Airspace Integration related roles (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated experience in the aviation industry including development and/or operations and/or with air navigation service providers, including an understanding of instrument flight procedures (preferred). First-hand experience working with an aviation regulator, with an understanding of Airport Operations and Airspace regulations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a globally distributed team.
