TD SYNNEX has built a strong data analytics capability, focused on creating predictive insights, automation of the business processes and personalization of the partner interactions.
 

TD SYNNEX continues building up its highly successful Data Practice and looking for a passionate and talented Associate Data Scientist to join our European excellence team.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to apply data governance and analytics to real-world business situations across various scenarios in the technology distribution industry. As the field of advanced analytics evolves rapidly, the Junior Data Scientist is responsible for staying current on emerging business applications, tools, and approaches, working collaboratively with the Analytics Leadership to enhance offerings that provide a competitive advantage to TD SYNNEX.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the latest data technologies, such as Snowflake SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Power BI, AWS Services, Microsoft Azure, etc.

• Work with a large number and size of data sources, engaging in variable analytics use cases (handling truly BIG DATA).

• Focus on real use cases, actively participating in end-to-end business solutions, including solution design and presentation of results, with a quick turnaround time for implementations.

• Adopt an agile and experimental approach, enabling new implementations within days rather than months.

• Collaborate with Cloud Vendor Business within TD SYNNEX departments and other BI Teams across the organization.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services into our software ecosystem.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Some working experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science is desired.

• Fluency in English is required.

• Relevant SQL skills.

• Hands-on programming/scripting experience in Python or R, familiarity with Power BI and Power platforms.

• Possess foundational data expertise with the ability to efficiently advise teams on uncovering critical insights for clients.

• Demonstrate autonomy, passion for analytics, and problem-solving skills, contributing to the development of new Analytics service offerings.

• Effective collaborator with a strong presence, capable of operating within a matrix organization.

• Comfortable working with modern development tools, with the ability to synthesize complex data and translate machine learning techniques into business implications.

• Confident in statistical and machine learning skills.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
