As a Tech lead, you will:
Technically lead and mentor a team of talented Backend and Frontend developers architect and build a highly-scalable highly-available SaaS system for diversified and complex data flows have end-to-end ownership: Design, build, ship, measure, and maintain our backend services
Collaborates with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications
Demonstrate technical cloud architectural knowledge work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver quality-high software against aggressive schedules

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, develop and deploy the infrastructure that helps realize Bright Machines' vision of Software Defined Manufacturing
- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop reliable and scalable platforms
- Write clean, maintainable code, and perform peer code-reviews
- Participate in architecture design reviews across areas of expertise
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure we are continually shipping code to production
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver quality-high software against aggressive schedules
- Establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and then mentor team members on their appropriate application
- Help define and implement standards and promote best practices for distributed software systems
- Analyze and optimize applications to maximize speed and scale
Job Requirements
- 7+ years in software development - Java, C#, Python
- At least 2 years as a technical lead/software architect
- Experience in designing and maintaining large-scale SaaS applications
- Deep familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures - specifically AWS
- Experience designing with both NoSQL and relational databases
- Deep familiarity with serverless and microservice architecture
- DevOps skills such as Docker, Kubernetes, Cloudformation, Terraform, etc. - advantage
