As an Engineering Manager, you will grow and empower a team of high-caliber engineers as you continue to build Grammarly for Mac. You will lead the team to success in bootstrapping our flagship product, which will have a significant impact on the entire company.

This role will require you to foster relationships and partnerships with other cross-functional engineering teams. Your goal will be to collaborate on joint initiatives to develop the Grammarly for Mac product offering, while also improving reliability and performance, ease of contribution, and ability to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Empower your team to achieve high levels of reliability, productivity, and simplicity.
  • Continue scaling a team of exceptional engineers, and help them deliver world-class product offerings that bring clear, effective, and mistake-free writing to the macOS platform.
  • Coach engineers on the team, helping them advance in their careers.
  • Foster a metrics-driven engineering culture focused on impact and rapid experimentation.
  • Set up robust operations to ensure dozens of engineers can seamlessly contribute to a shared codebase.
  • Participate in conversations with cross-engineering and cross-functional partners to help flesh out projects and drive them to completion.
  • Drive engineering-wide initiatives with the rest of the Engineering Management team.

Job Requirements

  • Displays solid technical judgment on engineering architecture and product decisions.

  • Leads by example and sets the proper context for decisions.
