Cruise is looking for a Field Support Coordinator to help us manage and respond to any situations experienced with driverless autonomous vehicles in the field.

In this position, you will work together across operations, remote assistance, customer success, product and engineering to ensure we are optimizing workflows to meet our service level agreements and to address field situations at the highest standard possible.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist in the communication, execution and documentation of procedures for on-road vehicle recovery and retrieval operations
  • Hire, grow, develop, manage, and lead a team of on-road Field Support Representatives in the safe, efficient execution of autonomous vehicle recovery and retrieval operations
  • Cross-train with Operations Coordinators to learn additional skills and provide greater operational flexibility for the team
  • Work cross functionally with all autonomous vehicle operations and fleet management to enable end-to-end safe, efficient execution, and continuous operational improvement

Job Requirements

  • Experience in operations management, operations planning, or project management at a fast-paced start-up or tech company
  • Ability to work both remotely and on-site in one or more of our San Francisco offices and garages
  • You are a tenacious team player, with a bias toward action and a continuous improvement mindset; you work well with others
  • Tough problems and setbacks do not deter you; you see them as exciting challenges and growth opportunities
  • Competency in G-Suite products (Slides, Sheets, Forms), and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Ability to communicate key issues coherently and confidently to diverse stakeholder groups
