The Financial Data Analyst is a member of the Finance team, and will be responsible for financial and operational analytics, modeling, reporting, and business support for key parts of the organization. This role requires in-depth business knowledge and advanced skills in data manipulation to translate business needs into insights and analysis. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly analytical, and detail oriented. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager, based in Tel-Aviv.
Responsibilities
- Analyze actual, forecast, and budget expenses on a monthly and quarterly basis to help control costs
- Create and maintain dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server using a variety of sources
- Design automated solutions for recurrent reporting (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Contribute to the continued development of report automation and self-service distribution through Tableau and other platforms
- Maintain and improve current processes, and create new processes, to produce, collect, and analyze reference data
- Work on special projects and ad-hoc assignments
- Work collaboratively with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Deliver key financial forecasting, along with insightful performance reporting and analysis, while engaging various stakeholders in the company
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Finance, Economics, Accounting
- With min 3-5 years of experience as a FP&A in a High-Tech company, fast-paced environment, preferably in subscription revenue environment - SaaS
- Advanced Excel skills, including a working knowledge of SQL and VBA
- Strong analytical skills with the highest standards of accuracy and precision
- Expertise in a data visualization tool (Tableau)
- Proven experience in development in BI tools (Tableau)
- Skilled with data analysis, data visualization and reporting & analytics
- Ability to perform detailed data analysis, i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English (written and verbal)
