

Graphic Designer
Job Description
As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, user experience, and technical training, to create compelling visual assets that align with our brand identity and enhance the overall user experience. This is a key role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to lead design projects and working across various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Technical Content
Develop graphics for technical training content, blog posts, technical diagrams, and documentation
Develop YouTube thumbnails and graphics used in the videos
Maintain and improve existing graphics as Ray and Anyscale evolve
Build, maintain, improve design system for all visuals
Introduce a single design standard across training, blog posts, documentation
Marketing and Demand generation
Develop visual identity for events and meetups
Work on important slide-decks to improve their visual style
Produce imagery for advertising, website, sales tools, giveaways
User Experience
Establish design systems and process within our business
Understanding our audience of customers and navigate their problems
Job Requirements
- BSc/MSc in a relevant field
- Portfolio showcasing relevant previous work
- 2+ years of experience in designing graphics/diagrams for technical products
- 2+ years of experience in working with tools for design: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Figma, etc
- A bonus points for experience with animation tools e.g. Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colors
- Familiarity with technical concepts and ability to translate complex information into easily understandable visuals
- Experience with creating diagrams illustrating technical concepts like system architecture, data flow, use case overview
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and a technical audience
