Supervises, organizes, controls and schedules all maintenance, preventive services, corrective repairs and emergency works for Plant Services Engineering. Oversees the organization's daily work order priorities, materials ordering, problem-solving, diagnostics, and leadership of section in working supervisor capacity. Sets quantitative and qualitative assignments and assesses the completed standards. Meets agreed KPIs and submits regular reports as required by the leadership. 

  • Leads, supervises, and mentors the maintenance team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Work on continuous improvement plans to keep the facilities reliable and efficient. Identify replacement plans for equipment/services that are not economical to maintain.
  • Identify facility related technical issues proactively and address with suitable solutions.
  • Plans, allocates, and manages budgets/resources to ensure the timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to maximize system uptime and prolong asset life.
  • Oversees the inspection, operation, and maintenance of all critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure.
  • Establishes performance benchmarks, monitors compliance, and drives continuous improvement across maintenance functions.
  • Manages vendor relationships and oversees contracted services for major repairs installations, and renovations.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant safety standards, legal codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • To prepare programs/policies and procedure to meet Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) guidelines. 
  • Ensure team is trained to deliver the FM services effectively.
  • Conducts risk assessments and implements mitigation strategies to ensure workplace safety for staff, contractors, and hospital visitors. 
  • Collaborations with internal stakeholders to support capital projects, facility expansions, and system upgrades.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports, records, and inventory tracking.
  • Promotes and integrates sustainable practices into maintenance operations.
  • Fosters effective communication and sustainable practices into maintenance operations seamless service delivery.
  • Applies sustainable practices to meet organizational goals on sustainability.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with (3) years in a managerial roles in a Healthcare Organization's maintenance or similar institution. 
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
  • Knowledge of computer applications( e.g. Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards.
  •  Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Previous Engineering Administration/Work control experience in a Hospital/Healthcare institute.
