Manager, Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

Sumo Logic is seeking a CRO expert to continually test and optimize digital customer acquisition- from website visitor to product trial signup and account activation.

Reporting to Sumo Logic’s Sr. Director of Digital Marketing, the Manager will serve as the team’s subject matter expert for iteratively testing the web and trial experience, reporting results, and managing the backlog of growth experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project management of web & trial conversion initiatives, and provide direction and transparency through the project lifecycle from ideation, content creation, design, and development.
  • Map user journeys, perform user research, and provide insights into user expectations and browsing patterns.
  • Create a site testing plan, based on data-driven hypotheses, and implement tests in an agile fashion to measure the impact on site performance and conversion.
  • Measure weekly and monthly funnel fluctuations, conversion rates, visitor trends, etc., and develop a set of standardized dashboards and reports for measuring the overall health of the trial funnel.
  • Partner with marketing colleagues to advise and create new landing page design and content, and measure impact on conversion.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an expert at B2B SaaS web conversion rate optimization (CRO), AB testing, SEO, and web content - bringing systematic approaches and methodology to the Sumo Logic Digital Marketing Web team.

  • Drive Online Lead Acquisition: Create compelling triggers for lead capture across our home page, core pages, resources, landing pages, etc.
  • Project Management: Drive the CRO strategy, management, prioritization and execution of KPI and UX-centric initiatives.
  • Performance: Audit, monitor and improve business performance of the website. Demonstrate how the actively managed website is contributing to funnel goals, with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimization and website effectiveness. Own website testing, analytics, and insights. Demonstrate how analysis informs spend and prioritization. Present findings and action plans regularly to senior stakeholders.
