Our enterprise SaaS product MAPTUAL serves some of the most recognized Fortune 500 life sciences companies. WHAT’S ON OFFER
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the product efforts for MAPTUAL, Field and Sphere. This role will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
MAPTUAL Field provides data-driven insights to medical sales and education professionals in the field, and MAPTUAL Sphere tailors the insights to marketing and head office needs. Both product offerings are built on top of our MAPTUAL Platform which combines AI and engineering capabilities designed in a scalable manner on AWS. You will be given ownership of a specific product offering and take it to the next level, and also participate in driving new product initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Own the product life cycle and product roadmap
• Collaborate closely with our customers, our customer success team, engineering team, design team, and technical PM to solve business and user problems
• Think like a Product Manager and Product Owner at core, drive strategy and execution
• Ensure coherence and effectiveness of the product
• Discover, define, and validate user problems first, then leverages the appropriate technical and design solutions using rapid prototyping, fast iterations, and rigorous testing
• Distill use cases, value props, and support our product marketing team to educate our customers
• Understand and leverage the value of our data and AI solutions, Technical PMs and a our highly product-driven Data Science team
• Tell amazing stories through data 
• Balance quantitative and qualitative decision making
• Able to trust your instincts and prove them with data and / or ROI
• Build what customers actually need, not simply what they ask for
• Bring new initiatives, perspectives, and product management practice into the company
• Has a strong sense of Product leadership
• Instill the importance and value of “Product Sense” across the company
• Help mentor less experienced PMs and grows the product team

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally building one of the following: SaaS, IaaS, Enterprise, or Analytics products
• Understands how to scale
• Able to tell success AND failure stories about solving business and user problems
• Dives deep technically and understands how the product works
• Explains concepts in simple terms
• Great collaboration skills, enjoys working with engineers to extrapolate technical feasibility and the system big picture, without getting into the implementation details
• Detail oriented and analytical, able to spot issues as well as values hidden in data sources
• Is curious, ambitious, and can execute
• Highly empathetic towards to customers with a strong business acumen, a true believer in working towards a measurable outcome
• Manages multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Values the ability to influence and motivate both technical and non-technical colleagues
• An understanding of modern cloud-based software architecture is an asset

LOCATION
We are a remote-first company based in Toronto with frequent in-person collaborative work sessions and social gatherings at a work-share office in downtown Toronto. We leverage many synchronous and asynchronous communication tools as well as virtual social events, and provide an allowance for your ideal WFH setup.
