The Role:

As a Senior Recruiter (GTM) at Halcyon, you will play a critical role in identifying and acquiring top-tier go-to-market (GTM) talent in the endpoint cybersecurity space during a period of high growth. This role will serve as our sole Talent Acquisition (TA) team member in the early stages, therefore we are looking for a highly engaged and self-motivated Recruiter who is excited about owning our TA workflow and end-to-end operations. This means that while we place an emphasis on GTM hiring, the role will occasionally be asked to support hiring across other areas of the business including G&A and technical teams. This will be an ambitious but rewarding challenge for someone who is hungry to be an early and critical contributor to the buildout of our organization. The ideal candidate knows how to build a talent pipeline and skillfully manage internal and external relationships. They will also be able to balance sourcing exceptional talent with TA operations and employer branding efforts to position us for enterprise-level hiring.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for a diverse range of roles, with an emphasis on GTM hiring.

  • Leverage best practice sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-performing GTM talent for a high-growth startup in the endpoint cybersecurity space.

  • Employ best practice interviewing techniques to acutely assess candidates for role-specific skills and experience that align with our goals and values.

  • Prioritize internal relationships, building exceptional rapport with internal partners to understand their needs.

  • Prioritize candidate experience, crafting a compelling narrative and skillfully guiding key talent through the candidate lifecycle to a successful close.

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with all internal and external contributors to the candidate lifecycle.

  • Build upon our existing TA operational framework with a data-first mindset to enable current and future-state reporting and analytics.

  • Contribute to TA process improvement, leaning on best practices to automate repetitive tasks and optimize our materials, tools, workflows, applicant tracking system (ATS) structure and data.

  • Build a strong employer brand and presence within the endpoint cybersecurity industry.

  • Stay current on industry trends and GTM job market dynamics to inform relevant recruitment strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a GTM Recruiter, preferably in the endpoint cybersecurity industry.

  • 3+ years of proven experience in an operational TA role involving optimizing, building or managing TA materials, tools, workflows, ATS structure and/or data.

  • Ability to support hiring across a diverse range of roles within and beyond the GTM sphere.

  • Experience with best practice candidate development, pipelining and cold contact techniques.

  • Experience with best practice candidate assessment and other techniques to optimize time-in-stage.

  • Relationship-first mindset to ensure healthy partnerships and a positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.

  • Exceptional negotiation skills; ability to balance internal and external needs to successfully close on preferred talent.

  • Proficient in best practice use of ATS and other recruitment tools, including Greenhouse sourcing automation (top of funnel optimization, campaigns, etc.).

  • Experience building and optimizing TA operations to create the ultimate candidate experience, high quality assessments, consistency in process, enhanced reporting/analytics and overall recruitment velocity.

  • Ability to balance relationship building and sourcing with transactional tasks such as job description drafting and posting, interview scheduling and other ATS administration.

  • Adept understanding of sales and executive compensation.

  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
