As a Growth Development Manager at Jasper, you will be tasked with leading initiatives to grow our customer base and identify new opportunities for growth. This would include using analytics to track usage and engagement, developing experiments to optimize the user experience, and leveraging A/B testing to determine what works best for our customers. You’ll manage engineers on the growth team, helping them develop in their careers and be successful in their work. You should also possess strong communication skills in order to guide and motivate your team, as well as an analytical mindset in order to identify areas of improvement and come up with strategies for success.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding our current customer base, collecting data on why they are signing up, what their goals are, and how we can provide a better experience for them.
  • Working in collaboration with the data, research, CX, design, engineering and marketing teams to create insights from this data.
  • Implementing strategies to optimize the initial customer onboarding process by making it easier and more enjoyable.
  • Developing an effective strategy for welcoming new customers in a way that makes them feel valued.
  • Creating A/B testing plans to identify which strategies and tactics work best at increasing customer engagement.
  • Analyzing customer behavior to uncover user preferences and develop smart solutions that help drive growth.
  • Monitoring progress of growth initiatives in order to adjust efforts according to results.
  • Staying up to date on AI and machine learning industry trends.
  • Coach and facilitate growth opportunities for each engineer on the team.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing growth development teams
  • Skilled at leveraging quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience with user testing, A/B testing, and product experimentation
  • Knowledge of generative AI tools
  • Experience with analytics tools such Amplitude, Mode, or similar
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to effectively lead teams while working collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple levels within an organization.
