Sr. Director, EMEA Field Marketing

In this remote role, the leader of our EMEA’s Field Marketing team will be responsible for developing and executing high impact regional marketing plans that help move accounts through our sales cycle faster and more effectively. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Demand Generation, working closely with sales (direct and indirect) and global marketing teams to deliver campaigns that drive results and expand our local footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and partnering with regional sales leaders in alignment with company priorities to develop quarterly marketing plans cross all tactics tailored to the immediate needs of local markets and their target accounts.  
  • Identifying growth opportunities and executing programs focused on creating new biz pipeline, shortening sales cycles and build customer loyalty to support cross-selling and up-selling efforts
  • Develop EMEA’s channel marketing strategy for the region as well as key tactics.
  • Design and launch scalable programs across the EMEA partner community to generate revenue, foster engagement and to position Vectra as a cybersecurity leader in ‘threat detection & response’.
  • Play a key role in helping strategic channel partners develop quarterly marketing strategies and plans designed to drive demand and pipeline.
  • Introducing and testing new programs and styles of account-based marketing strategies to drive demand generation and pipeline with key segments. Programs will include on and offline tactics and span the entire sales cycle, focused by region, and sometimes by vertical.
  • Understand the global PR strategy and support the regional management of PR agencies including rapid response and local thought leadership content creation.
  • Serving as the point person for all marketing planning and budgeting activities for the theatre, coordinating closely with functional leaders in corporate teams.
  • Reporting on results of specific tactics as well as the breadth of the field marketing program in your regions.  
  • Be a strategic partner to Sales leaders and Marketing leadership on key metrics, including marketing performance measurement, budgeting, strategic planning, process definition, and marketing systems and data. 
  • Managing a high performing and diverse regional marketing team.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing various programs across countries to ensure budget and results are achieved.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years in Marketing with experience in enterprise software, Security and/or Cloud experience desired.  
  • Deep familiarity with the European enterprise B-to-B software market.
  • Knowledge and experience with modern demand generation and integrated marketing.
  • B.A. / B.S or equivalent undergraduate degree, relevant technical subject preferred. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Very strong written and communications skills – must be able to communicate the value proposition of the company, create original content (case studies, slide decks, white papers, landing pages, etc…), present to a wide range of audiences, from senior executives at customers, to large audiences, to relatively technical people.
  • Player-coach attitude & results required – Must be enthusiastic about developing the plan, but also doing the work.
  • Travel may be required throughout EMEAs core countries, with occasional travel to the US.
