CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Network Engineer who has solid track records for building and operating hyper-scale hybrid cloud networks. You will be working with various application groups to build and operate networks used to serve our regulated environments. You will own major initiatives from ideation to implementation, including funding, planning, and operational support.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks at scale
- Partner with application groups to analyze complex business needs and develop technical solutions
- Initiate and drive short-term and long-term plans and initiatives
- Improve the reliability and efficiency of production network and drive best practices
- Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and to improve our network visibility
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations
Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Proven track record in leading initiatives independently with minimal supervision
- 7+ years of experience in building and operating multi-vendor, multi-region production networks
- Experience operating in FedRAMP or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with security control frameworks such as the CIS Critical Security Controls, ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53
- Expert in various routing and switching protocols, such as IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VxLAN, QoS, IPSEC, MACsec
- Extensive experience in deploying and managing large networks using scripts (bash, python, go) or automation frameworks (Ansible, Chef, Terraform)
- Working experience in deploying and supporting connectivity on public cloud, such as AWS, GCP, Azure
