We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will report to the Supply Chain Director and hold accountability for the complete supply chain operations related to our contracted manufacturing partners.

The Team

The role will be as part of the Supply Chain team at Graphcore. This team is part of the Operations group and has members in Bristol and Taiwan. The team is responsible for developing and managing a robust manufacturing subcontract supply chain for Graphcore.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Drive demand forecasting, production planning, and material requirements for PCBA, systems, and racks through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  2. Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure supplier adherence to established production schedules and delivery commitments. 
  3. Analyse demand backlogs, WIPs movement and material readiness, identifying and resolving supply and demand imbalances, ensuring timely finished goods delivery.
  4. Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of production capacity, material availability, demand fluctuations, and cost factors. 
  5. Prepare and disseminate periodic reports (e.g., WIPs, material readiness and finished goods for the management team, accompanied by insightful analysis and proposed resolutions. 
  6. Develop KPI metrics and generate reports to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance and critical metrics.

Candidate Profile 
Essential:

  • Over 5 years in supply chain management field, preferably within the high-tech industry
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management with a significant focus on OEM/ODM business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including VBA), data modelling, automation, ERP systems, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Superset.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese is highly preferred due to the location and potential interaction with local suppliers and OEM partners
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
