Role description:

Arcadis is looking to hire a Tech Lead - AI Platform & Solutions Architect who will be responsible for developing and managing infrastructure, platform components, and AI-driven solutions that enable Arcadis’ business units to leverage AI securely and effectively. You will be responsible for overseeing AI-related communications, AI governance frameworks, and operational excellence in AI implementation.

Role accountabilities:

As Technical Lead AI Platform and Solutions your primary responsibilities include:

• Development of AI Platform & APIs:
  • Design and implement scalable AI systems using Azure services, including AKS and DevOps, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build secure and efficient back-end systems in .Net, Docker, CI/CD, ACR tasks, K8s, C# to enable business units to run project-specific custom APIs.
  • Ensure AI solutions are scalable and secure, leveraging containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes as foundational technologies while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize AI platform performance for scalability, reliability, and efficiency in Grafana.
• Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
  • Work with software engineers and data scientists to define technical requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance on platform architecture and integration with existing systems.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, networking specialists, and architects, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and data platforms.
• Operational Excellence & Support:
  • Optimize AI team performance by establishing KPIs, tracking operational metrics with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with data science teams to align AI operational priorities with technical development needs.
  • Provide support for AI training initiatives and ensure AI literacy across business units.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Data or Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Strong knowledge in developing secure and efficient back-end systems using .NET, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure Container Registry (ACR) for enabling custom API solutions.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and AI product development lifecycles.
• Familiarity with ITIL, CSAT, and MTTR frameworks to understand IT enterprise operations and metrics.
• Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language.
