As a Trust & Safety Operations Manager you will work on scaling our Trust Operations across our products and services to address emerging threats in the area of safety and abuse to our platforms.

Work closely with operations, security and platform engineering teams, and our research and ethics community to build comprehensive tools, policies, and procedures using your deep understanding of both the threat landscape and our broader dedication to responsible AI.

Responsibilities

  • Drive operational excellence and standard processes across all Trust & Safety programs
  • Oversee and influence partner strategy, selection and operations of a global team ensuring a balance between high-quality work, adherence with production/metrics expectations, health and wellbeing.
  • Deliver reports and recommendations on operational metrics, process improvements and enforcement strategy, including at the executive level.
  • Collaborate and advise on rollout of new features, helping to contribute to a culture of safety by design.
  • Mitigate high crisis incidents that pose a risk to the company brand or to our users, and be able balances between safety and privacy.
  • Take on Incident Commander responsibilities during trust, safety or brand related incidents, including being on-call, coordinating the incident team in finding the root cause and mitigating impact.
  • Act as escalation points where needed, including time-sensitive issues from internal partners. Documenting post-mortem assessments as necessary.
  • Lead forward-thinking and innovative initiatives, acting as the point of contact for any new Trust & Safety support requirements

Job Requirements

  • Experience leading trust and security operations, including moderation and enforcement
  • Experience crafting and building large-scale systems
  • Experience and knowledge in project/program management with the skill to navigate through ambiguity and adapt plans and strategies as project conditions change
  • Experience solving complex challenges, and implementing scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Experience of incident management frameworks and escalations
  • Excellent technical understanding and communication ability, with the ability to influence action and outcomes
  • Proactive about learning and acquiring knowledge to improve your domain knowledge
  • Interest and/or experience with AI/ML research and engineering fundamentals
