Job Description We are Looking for a Engineer / Sr. Engineer - Manufacturing Battery, To support and manage manufacturing operations within the battery production department, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards 
Design & Manufacturing,
* Closely work with the battery design team to meet manufacturing requirements, Interface between design and Manufacturing.
* Will be part of the entire lifecycle of the battery pack from Concept initiation to end of cycle.
* Responsible for supplier interaction for various builds of the battery packs.
* Responsible for preparing PFMEA for problem resolution, RCA Tools etc.
* Strategy for optimizing manufacturing methods to improve cost, Quality and Lead times.* Manufacturing process design, tools and equipment for process execution.
* Responsible for battery module/pack assembly processes like Cell sorting, Laser welding, Spot welding, Wire bonding , Adhesive dispensing etc.
* Responsible for battery pack testing with BMS for Drive profile tests, Cycle life tests etc.
Domain skill requirement:
*Strong understanding of the Li-ion battery Engineering design architecture.
*Awareness of international standards applicable for battery manufacturing.
*Experience in Battery pack manufacturing processes.
*Basic designer capabilities in software CAD tools - Catia, NX etc.

Experience required: Minimum 3 Years of experience in Battery pack manufacturing Location:  Thaiyur, Chennai
