Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Software Engineer. Senior. Perform software engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of custom web applications, largely around authentication, authorization, and identity-related products; design, implement, automate, and support all aspects of the product; participate in the architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of software solutions; develop new applications, improve current systems and bring new capabilities to our customers; contribute to our automated test suite, including unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests in labs and QA environments; improve current functionality and bring new features to the software platform. Required Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role. Must have: One (1) year of experience with the following: cloud software development; devOps; terraform; python; gitlab; jenkins; and k8s.

Alternately, employer will accept no degree and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role. Must have: One (1) year of experience with the following: cloud software development; devOps; terraform; python; gitlab; jenkins; and k8s.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges
from $172744 - $221400; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
