As an Account Executive at Dataminr, you'll help us dive deeper into the Enterprise space in Northern California. That means taking a consultative approach, leading with a point of view, and selling more complex deals to senior buyers. You'll be sitting at the center of Dataminr's next phase of growth. This is a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas through a solid, measurable sales process while conducting detailed and professional sales campaigns
- Build a pipeline through heavy prospecting, networking, and leveraging our growing list of partners.
- Build and maintain effective client relationships, and strategically navigate and close complex enterprise deals.
- Develop deep insights regarding customer use cases, internal decision making nuances, budget cycles, and other key information.
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position the portfolio of Dataminr's solutions
- Provide regular and productive feedback loop to cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering) to enable continuous improvement of our products.
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of experience selling enterprise SaaS technology solutions in a fast-paced, competitive market with cybersecurity experience a plus.
- The ability to expand the scope of an opportunity at a strategic and tactical level, and galvanize the appropriate resources to execute successfully
- A history of quota overachievement and ability to deliver consistently against targets
- Deep understanding of a complex sales process and business drivers for enterprise clients
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM a plus
