AIML - Systems Engineer, Device Engineering, Machine Learning Platform and Infrastructure

You will be a part of a small, collaborative team of engineers in AIML Device Engineering team responsible for building a large scale system to enable on-device ML computation, testing and validation. You will be collaborating with engineers in several technical areas who deliver world class Apple products to customers. Our team interfaces with all AIML and Siri, acts as a liaison between component, product teams and platform with the end goal of making it easier for the AIML engineers to do large scale computation on Apple devices.

• 10+ years of industry experience
• Experience with developing batch & scheduling systems for computation at scale
• Experience with working cross functionally across disparate organizations to achieve shared company-wide goals
• Familiarity with development lifecycles for large software projects
• Experience with translating sophisticated functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
• Experience in designing systems with high performance, scalability and availability
• Familiarity with public cloud environments like AWS, GCP and others
• Knowledge of containerization concept like Docker, Kubernetes and others
• High ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on leader to drive quality in usability and experience
• Ability to design, architect and quickly complete projects with minimal supervision and direction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Solid Go and REST based development
