Change and Delivery Specialist, Analytics

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working at the intersection of data analysis and change management in a fast-paced, strategic team focussed on improving DeepMind’s internal decision making. This role will help drive the continuing evolution of our research and technical infrastructure organisations by using insights to identify opportunities for improvement and project manage effective delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Combining your organisational context, knowledge of available technology, and insights from the team to proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Independently seeking opportunities for organisational improvement via analysis conducted in tools like SQL and Google sheets
  • Using critical thinking and excellent judgement to determine best-fit project methodologies, effectively organising and optimising work to clear objectives. Plan and evaluate progress against goals, and partner with relevant collaborators to land the delivery of the program.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders across DeepMind as needed to ensure the required buy-in, support, and timely delivery of projects and programs.
  • Running several projects simultaneously, exhibiting good project management skills, timelines, expectations, progress updates, anticipating and resolving risks etc.
  • Contributing to the roll out of new processes or change initiatives with appropriate messaging, bringing clarity to our aims and motivations and ensuring feedback and review are a core part of the process.
  • Role modelling DeepMind’s values and ways of working, and understand the importance of DeepMind’s culture.
  • Engaging credibly and articulately when presenting information in order to influence the right outcome

Job Requirements

  • A solid  understanding of project management techniques and change management practices.
  • Logical and analytically minded
  • End-to-end project management experience.
  • You'll have confidence using technical tools & methods to prepare assets for stakeholders in the form of visualisation, slides, and presentations.
  • You’ve previously taught yourself new tools/techniques to expand your skill set, and are excited to continue doing so.
  • You are highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
