Fleet Sustainment Manager

We are currently seeking a Fleet Sustainment Manager that will develop V-BAT sustainment plans and activities to enable the capture and successful execution of long-term domestic and international customer contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Refine Line Replaceable Unit definitions / standards for the V-BAT product line.
  • Support Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) analysis to enable accurate sparing models.
  • Lead a Level of Repair Analysis team to identify the most efficient and cost-effective means of maintaining the V-BAT product line.
  • Support the development of maintenance processes which should be done at theorganizational, intermediate, and depot levels.
  • Develop relationships with vendor OEMs to identify repair processes which might be able to be pulled in-house.
  • Work with the pricing team to help identify items which may be Beyond Economical Repair (BER)
  • Support customer provisioning conferences
  • Establish and lead a depot-level maintenance process whichprovides maintenance on both company-owned and customer owned Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and associated Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
  • Establish written training and certification requirements for depot maintenance personnel.  
  • International, Domestic, and Internal customer V-BAT Sustainment tasks

Job Requirements

  • Project/Program Management experience, including managing schedules, budget, resources, and multidisciplinary teams. 
  • Experience with aviation sustainment, maintenance, and operations, including coordinating work across multiple departments. 
  • Significant experience and excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Excellent skills in leadership, time management, organization, team management. 
  • Ability to run advanced projects/programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects, in a manner that is largely self-directed. 
  • Excellent verbal and written ability. 
  • BS in related field  
  • A demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding self and others to high standards, and being kind to others. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS in engineering
  • Previous leadership experience with a military maintenance organization
  • Experience in field of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)
