As a Front End Engineer on the Apollo platform you will be responsible for the experience of thousands of users, architecting interfaces that make sophisticated deployment and monitoring tasks simple. You might spend one day interviewing users to understand their complex workflows and the next brainstorming mockups with Product Designers. Another day, you could tackle automating a workflow, partnering with backend engineers to wire up your code with the APIs, or if you’re really up for a challenge, building them yourself!
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Designers and internal and external customers to develop the overall look and design of our web application.
- Develop and evolve core libraries and components used to render user interfaces.
- Collaborate with Backend Engineers to define APIs that support frontend functionality.
- Contribute backend code to unblock and enhance projects.
- Routinely test and debug web applications, manually and through automation, to maintain high quality and performance.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of front end software engineering experience. Regardless of which frameworks you use or how you learned them, we’re looking for people who can write clean, effective code.
- Proven track record of building impactful user interfaces, understanding how technical decisions impact users.
- Proficiency with web technologies and front end programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
