Vectra is looking for a IT System Engineer to support and scale the company’s corporate IT infrastructure. The position reports directly to the IT Manager and is based out of our Dublin, Ireland or Austin, Texas office depending on the candidate's location.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in the daily support and maintenance of all IT systems and corporate SaaS solutions
- Provide technical leadership and training to System Admins and Support staff
- Design and maintain Windows/Azure Domain infrastructure in a hybrid-cloud environment
- Monitor performance, availability, and security of corporate IT services
- Administer the corporate virtualization and SAN infrastructure
- Work with different functional groups throughout the company to source and deploy IT solutions
- Contribute to automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to increase efficiencies
Job Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field of study
- Certifications welcomed
- Solid experience administering Windows, MacOS in an Enterprise setting
- Expertise in Windows Active Directory, O365, and Azure
- Experience administering industry standard hypervisors
- Experience with PowerShell and Python; Kusto a plus
- Solid understanding of core networking and security concepts
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to drive multiple projects in parallel
