As the Revenue Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the complexities of revenue recognition; coordinating across internal departments, and creating clear reporting and forecasting of Anduril’s revenue.
Responsibilities
- Review customer contracts, communicate across multiple teams, and complete revenue recognition schedules in compliance with ASC 606. Crate ASC 606 checklists for new contracts.
- Maintain CLIN trackers, update labor hours, pull actual material other direct costs to calculate revenue in percentage of completion method.
- Work closely with finance team to evaluate program gross margin and make adjustments for reasonableness.
- Actively participate in the monthly financial close process including preparation of journal entries (Revenue & COGS), working closely with external teams to obtain applicable month-end reporting, and performing certain reconciliations as needed.
- Assist with annual audits including preparing supporting schedules, quarterly revenue/deferred revenue summaries, and variance analysis for related GL accounts.
- Assist in formulation of internal controls and policies in compliance with SOX, IPO readiness, and GAAP.
- Participate in special projects or ad-hoc analysis in support of finance department and company initiatives.
- Processing accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years’ experience in accounting. Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
- 1+ years’ experience with revenue recognition management of unique, high-dollar, long-duration, complex contracts with subsequent modifications
- Effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management
- Strong technical skills - Excel, ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), analytical and extreme attention to detail
