Senior Test Engineer - Embedded HIL Testing

• Architect and develop highly-reliable embedded HIL test tools to validate embedded firmware.
• Define the test cases to satisfy the test requirements.
• Push the boundaries of performance by using and developing state-of-the-art tools and techniques to identify performance bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and debug information.
• Implement drivers, resource managers, and test cases that are highly efficient and highly reliable.
• Exercise technical leadership by cultivating eHIL knowledge within colleagues and guiding software implementations.

• BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of both high- and low-level communication protocols, from I2C and SPI to CAN and TCP/IP Protocols
• Python and software design skills; expertise in other languages welcome
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to support low level debugging
• Experience with electronics test equipment, such as multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes

Desirable Qualifications

• C or C++ programming skills
• Experience with software development practices for safety critical systems
• Experience in the autonomous driving industry
