Sr. Manager of Operations Finance (R2193)
Job Description
As the leader of Operations Finance, you will lead a team responsible for interfacing with our operations and accounting organizations to drive processes that enable effective and efficient business operations. This includes, but is not limited to, interfacing with supply chain to drive the procure-to-pay business process, working with manufacturing to enable tactical and strategic decision making around inventory, and driving the processes that impact AP, prepaids, inventory from the execution end of the business all the way through financial reporting. Leader in the monthly close process, responsible for maintaining the control framework around AP & Inventory, lead efforts to unlock more functionality and insights from recently implemented Costpoint ERP.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain robust KPIs to understand and drive cost flowing through the production process
- Monitor and maintain Shield AI’s Insurance program
- ERP Sub-system implementation support to build out financial and operational framework
- Internal control maturation as business expands and grows
- Inventory count coordination and support
- Internal / External audits
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a blend of operational financial experience plus accounting / inventory experience.
- At least 7 years of relevant finance work experience
- Progressive leadership experience
- Experience in the manufacturing space, ideally in the defense industry
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical skills – Advanced analysis and excel skills, and familiarity using and extracting data from various systems
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of inventory related functions and US GAAP
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the defense hardware manufacturing space
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS
- Experience with Costpoint ERP
- CPA with private and public company experience
