Staff Signal Integrity Engineer

We’re searching for a Signal Integrity Engineer to join the team and help be a part of transforming the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Signal Integrity(SI) and Power Integrity(PI) implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, Sensors and harnesses.
  • Develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high speed channel and SOC to optimize SI/PI performance.
  • Model complex 3D structures, such PCB Connector and cables
  • Extract and characterize high speed channel and compliance against industry standards
  • Lead  high speed interfaces validation in lab with high end scope, VNA and spectrum analyzer

Job Requirements

  • BS(MS/PHD preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with design and implementation of high speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIE Gen3/Gen4, high speed or automotive ethernet, DDR/LPDDR3/4, MIPI, HDMI, USB,etc
  • Good EM  knowledge and proficient at SIPI simulation tools, HFSS/SIwave, ADS or Cadence Sigrity.
  • Solid understanding  transmission line theory,  S-parameter, signal processing and PCB material, Stackup and fabrication process.
  • Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, real time Scope, spectrum analyzer and TDR, etc

Desirable Qualifications (this section is optional)

  • Experienced with automotive hardware development
  • Good communication skills, self motivated and strong team player
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
