Assistant General Manager, Operations Control Center, Night Shift

• Ensuring all resources in Cruise are focused on overcoming operational disruptions, both in the tactical daily operation as well as within a three day forward looking strategy
• Confirming a coordinated plan is developed across all groups to address problems
• Providing company-wide communications on the status of operations, ensures awareness of operational challenges and plans course of action
• Leading the Crisis Management and Emergency Response process until senior leadership assumes control
• Managing ‘Watch Officers directly’, and overseeing several ‘dotted-line’ co-located functions
• Meeting daily with senior leadership to inform and recommend organizational and systematic improvements; driving key organizational changes and improvements

• 10+ years relevant work experience
• Strong leadership skills and deep operational experience
• Graduate degree or bachelors degree with equivalent relevant work experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Composure; ability to work under stressful or demanding operational conditions
• Track record of being assertive, decisive, and proactive
• Sound judgment and strong decision making skills
• High sense of urgency and persistence
• Confidence in dealing with people and building relationships
• Analytical and structured approach to problem solving
• Ability to interface well with various operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders
