The Delivery Business Unit is responsible for leading the cross-functional effort to design, build, and implement a fully autonomous and profitable delivery business. Our team drives critical initiatives that include developing and scaling commercial partnerships, scoping and operating pilots, and identifying cross-functional opportunities to improve customer experience and business growth.

The Business Development Manager, Delivery will help execute on Cruise’s vision for scaled driverless delivery with enterprise partners throughout North America. The development of Autonomous Vehicles is shifting from a research and development focus on scaled commercialization, and we will be at the center of this emerging opportunity.


  • Build a funnel of target partners across key verticals. You will identify, prospect, and work to close new business opportunities
  • Facilitate key Cruise teams to optimally and efficiently work with our external partners, spanning product, operations, engineering, hardware development, legal, and account management. You’ll connect the right people to develop an integration plan.
  • Develop and improve our marketing campaigns and new business development efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and helping us achieve our ambitions to scale the delivery business.
  • Define partnership strategies and complete go-to-market plans across target geographies, verticals, and use cases.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience, with some in sales, business development, account management, business operations, or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Masters degree is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, as well as analytics and presentation tools
  • Strong solution-based selling, and comfort with applying structured thinking to ambiguous challenges
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize and articulate key messages to senior leadership and to dig into details with working groups


  • Experience working at start-up or growth stage company with large enterprise customers
  • Proven interest in AV or transportation space, and track record of scaling new technologies, services, and processes
