Senior Product Manager, MLDev

We are seeking a talented Senior Product Manager to help build ML Development tools.

This is a good fit for someone who thinks deeply about machine learning workflow and who wants to translate customers’ needs into better tools. Customers’ use cases span from anticipating user behavior at the world’s largest banks, to accelerating visual inspection of equipment at large manufacturers. You will work with an extremely talented group within DataRobot that is developing new advances in AI on structured and unstructured data to solve these challenge.

The ideal candidate has machine learning expertise with product management experience for  enterprise software. The candidate’s primary responsibilities will include discovering and launching high-value-generating capabilities, developing and communicating clear product roadmaps (both internally and externally), and working with Engineering to ensure to-the-point product development.

Responsibilities

  • You consistently wow and encourage coworkers, customers and decision makers with your hands-on, can-do attitude, having a critical eye for details, being organized, articulate, confident, and polished in front of everyone
  • You ensure happiness and productivity of the product managers on your team, challenging them and helping them grow with the company and the market.
  • You and your team own initiatives from discovery to launch to sunset, articulating a convincing story about how those initiatives will allow to achieve the product strategy and demonstrating that the capabilities you and your team launch are incrementally delivering maximum value to the customers and to DataRobot.
  • You work with other colleagues from design, engineering, enablement and marketing teams to set up, apply and improve lean processes, with a constant focus on collectively maximizing value and removing waste.
  • You are the “informed captain” for your area and create consensus among customers, co-workers and decision makers about the “what” and “why” and “when”, being capable of making quick and practical, sometimes hard, decisions, while remaining empathetic and passionate
  • You engage with users and prospects to understand their problems, and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. You are recognized by the customer facing team for your ability to create champions.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in at least one of the many areas of the Machine Learning and Data Science world
  • Product management experience in enterprise software
